The Maggie Tisserand ‘Herb Essence’ range of beauty products have until now only been available in Japan. A small selection is now available from Maggie’s website.
Each product has a subtle fragrance (as is required by Japanese culture) and is made as natural as possible; with essential oils and herbal extracts together with some unique ingredients: for example, the moisturizing cream and moisture lotion contain a special Japanese extract from soya bean – natto. Natto is made by a special process of fermentation and is usually eaten with a meal, but when added to a facial cream or lotion, it is one of nature’s best humectants (a humectant helps to retain moisture in the skin).
Over the years Maggie has written five books on the subject of aromatherapy. Some are now out of print, but three are available from www.maggietisserand.com at the discounted price of £5.00 each with free Postage and Packing.

1. Maggie’s first book was published in 1985. ‘Aromatherapy for Women’ was written from practical experience of bringing up her three children without any allopathic medicines – only essential oils, a few homeopathic remedies and a lot of common sense. It has sold over 700,000 copies worldwide.
